Transforming Academic Administration with a Campus Management ERP
How Softotic built a full-cycle campus ERP that reduced administrative overhead by 60% and improved student retention through automated communication.
The Problem
The institution was managing admissions, attendance, fees, and examinations across 4 faculties using a combination of spreadsheets, email, and a legacy PHP system. Data was siloed, errors were frequent, and administrative staff spent over 40% of their time on manual data entry. Students had no self-service portal and had to visit campus for fee receipts or grade queries.
Our Solution
Softotic designed and built a unified Campus Management ERP using Next.js for the web portal, Flutter for the mobile student app, Node.js/NestJS for the API layer, and PostgreSQL for the data layer. The system covered: admissions workflow, biometric attendance, automated fee invoicing with payment gateway, examination scheduling, result computation, and a student self-service portal. We deployed on AWS with Docker/ECS and set up GitHub Actions CI/CD.
